Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Civil Technology, GIS, or Environmental diploma program at an accredited post-secondary institution.
Interest in municipal engineering, land development, and project management.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D or similar design software.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for field work.
Ability to work safely and effectively in outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

Assist with field surveying using GPS and Total Station to support municipal engineering projects.
Prepare clear, accurate reports that inform project decisions and client deliverables.
Undertake field reviews and complete detailed reporting to ensure compliance and quality.
Review engineering drawings and contribute to design accuracy.
Conduct site inspections and perform field work to support project execution.
Travel to project locations within the province as required.
Apply safety standards and best practices in all field activities.
