About The Position

Your role Lead the civil and structural design process from concept through detailed design, including functional, performance, environmental, and seismic requirements. Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team of civil and structural engineering professionals. Plan and execute work to meet quality, cost, schedule, and technical requirements. Coordinate and oversee civil and structural engineering activities for nuclear power plant fundamental design. Ensure compliance with engineering, quality assurance, contractual, and regulatory requirements. Support proposal development, resource forecasting, and risk mitigation to maintain safety, quality, and delivery performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline) from an accredited university
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensed in Ontario.
  • 15+ years of engineering experience on refurbishment and/or new build projects, including large‑scale EPC environments.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience, demonstrating strong directional leadership in dynamic, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience with nuclear projects and technologies (e.g., CANDU), including modifications and new build initiatives.
  • Proven regulatory interface experience with CNSC and TSSA, including registrations, code classifications, and compliance documentation.
  • Strong civil and structural engineering expertise with working knowledge of nuclear, CSA, and NBCC codes and standards
  • Willing to travel and eligible for federal security clearance.
