About The Position

The Civil Superintendent is a field-based position that works closely with the Project Management team to help manage the project's civil scope and ensure construction conforms to the owner’s contract. The role coordinates civil subcontractors and daily work activities while supporting schedule, safety, quality, scope, and cost tracking.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lead and coordinate own and others’ actions, manage time, and manage personnel resources.
• Sensitivity to problems and the ability to anticipate issues and revise or adapt plans as necessary.
• Ability to read and understand project-specific documents, including plans, schedules, and specifications.
• Ability to keep records and prepare daily work and time reports.
• Ability to supervise others and clearly communicate instructions to a crew.
• Strong client relations skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with solar and/or wind construction.
• Experience with Procore.

Responsibilities

• Review project civil plan documentation and the civil subcontract to ensure alignment.
• Manage civil-scope subcontractors to ensure timelines are met and work is performed with a high level of safety and quality.
• Manage SWPPP/DEQ plans and requirements.
• Collaborate with subcontractors to plan daily civil-scope activities.
• Maintain knowledge of project plans, specifications, drawings, submittals, and permit requirements.
• Provide daily progress updates to the project management team.
• Work with the project team to accurately track civil-scope work, schedule, and cost.
• Supervise others and communicate instructions to the crew.
