About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the civil work for our airport terminal construction project. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project that will enhance airport operations. The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for managing and supervising all aspects of the civil construction activities for the airport terminal project. This includes ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery while adhering to project specifications and budget. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale airport or infrastructure projects, with expertise in civil engineering and construction management.

Requirements

  • BS Engineering or Construction Management or similar curriculum and 6 years of relevant construction experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Valid US drivers license.

Nice To Haves

  • Aviation construction experience.
  • Relevant experience in civil infrastructure projects.
  • OSHA 30-Hour
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in construction scheduling software and project management tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of airport operations and civil engineering practices.
  • Experience with construction documentation such as RFI, change order management, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily construction operations for the airport terminal project, including site preparation, grading, drainage, utility installations, and pavement work.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and project teams to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and airport operational requirements.
  • Integrate quality control team.
  • Maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and implement recovery plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including airport authorities, contractors, and project managers, to ensure seamless execution of the project.
  • Manage documentation, including RFIs, submittmits, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Engage in site meetings with contractors, clients, and stakeholders to address project updates and resolve issues.
  • Ensure the project adheres to budget constraints and provide accurate cost tracking and forecasting.
