About The Position

The role involves supporting the design and development of utility-scale solar and renewable energy projects, reviewing engineering reports and data to create civil and structural design solutions, and creating preliminary designs for foundations, grading, roads, and erosion control. It also requires partnering with internal teams, collaborating with clients and Engineers of Record, and providing technical guidance for project execution.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
6+ years of engineering and/or construction experience preferred, ideally in solar, renewable energy, power generation, or infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of civil and structural design principles, construction drawings, and applicable codes and standards.
Experience with foundation, grading, drainage, and site development design.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR and willingness to travel up to 15% as needed.

Nice To Haves

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
L-Pile experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support the design and development of utility-scale solar and renewable energy projects.
Review engineering reports, site data, and project requirements to develop civil and structural design solutions.
Create and review preliminary designs for foundations, grading, roads, and erosion control.
Partner with estimating, procurement, and operations teams to ensure accurate and constructible project designs.
Collaborate with clients, Engineers of Record, and project teams throughout design and construction.
Provide technical guidance to support successful project execution and continuous improvement initiatives.
