About The Position

Strategy Engineering & Consulting, LLC is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to join their Strategy Engineering Team. This role will be responsible for Civil and Structural design and technical supervision of engineering activities associated with design, procurement, and fabrication on projects executed by Strategy Engineering. The company specializes in project management, engineering, drafting/design, procurement, inspection, construction management, technical writing, and computerized maintenance management systems for onshore and offshore oil and gas projects.

Requirements

Licensed Professional Engineer is a must.
5-10+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering activities.
Knowledge of STAAD.Pro, SACS, ANSY, RISA, RAM Connection, Mat3D and foundation 3D.
Working knowledge of current industrial specifications including API and AISC codes.
Good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Concrete experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Civil site development including site grading and drainage plans.
Foundation Design: Design reinforced concrete foundations for heavy equipment such as compressors, pumps, and storage tanks
Steel Design: Engineer pipe racks, skid supports, catwalks, and maintenance platforms in accordance with AISC and ASCE standards
Interact with clients, installation contractors and fabricators to review project issues.
Coordinate drafting activities.
Assist with preparation of technical documents for Request for Quotation packages.
Prepare technical evaluations of fabricator and/or installation quotations.
Review vendor skid drawings.
Interface with other disciplines to minimize conflicts and errors.
