About The Position

As a Civil / Structural Engineer 2, you will support design activities in the area of structural steel and reinforced concrete design. You will report to the Structural Steel Senior Manager, Building Engineering & Physical Design and be located at global headquarters in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. The position is hybrid, with employees expected to be on-site 2 days per week. Relocation assistance is not provided for this position.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of applicable experience

• EIT / FE Certification

Responsibilities

• Support design activities which include analysis and drawing markups in the area of structural steel or concrete design.
• Address technical issues related to the fabrication, assembly, and construction phases of a civil/structural project. This includes technical justification of design changes and requires troubleshooting of emergent technical issues.
• On-Site support at multiple utilities and smaller projects.
• Gain familiarity with analytical tools such as ANSYS, LS-DYNA, and GT Strudl.
• Become familiar with applicable industry civil/structural codes and (such as ACI, AISC, AWS) standards and company procedures.
• Develop engineering sketches and markups using AutoCAD or similar CAD programs.
