About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Drafter to support Engineering and Operations by developing, updating, and maintaining accurate technical drawings for pipeline and facility assets. The ideal candidate will have strong AutoCAD experience, multi-discipline drafting expertise, and the ability to interpret field data, redlines, and project inputs into compliant design documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of drafting experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience working across multiple engineering disciplines, including: Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience developing and updating: P&IDs, Plot plans, Facility layouts, Equipment drawings
- Ability to interpret field redlines, site photos, and project documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote/distributed environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with pipeline and facility projects.
- Experience working with engineering drawing standards and systems such as LPDMS.
- Knowledge of pipeline and facility operations.
- Familiarity with instrumentation, control systems, and equipment tagging conventions.
- Experience with Revit is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain engineering drawings across mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
- Translate engineering concepts, project deliverables, and field redlines into accurate CAD drawings.
- Review and incorporate site markups, photos, and as-built information into final drawings.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable drafting standards and industry practices.
- Prepare Issued for Construction (IFC) and As-Built drawing packages.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, field teams, EPCs, vendors, and drafting service providers.
- Maintain drawing control, revision history, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Interpret incomplete or evolving information and resolve drawing discrepancies.
- Support accurate Process Safety Information (PSI) and overall project execution.
