About The Position

Exponent is seeking a Civil/Structural/Building Envelope Engineer/Associate for their Civil & Structural Engineering Practice in Atlanta, GA. This role involves inspecting, analyzing, and determining the root causes of structural/building envelope performance failures. The position requires conducting analytical and computer problem-solving, performing field investigations and diagnostic surveys, and preparing technical reports and presentations. Establishing professional expertise through continued professional development is also a key aspect of the role. Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering focus, or related field
  • Licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Structural Engineer (S.E.) or the ability to become licensed within two years in the states of Georgia and/or Florida
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills (writes clearly and concisely; writing is thorough and technically accurate; speaks clearly and concisely)
  • Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to support multiple group projects
  • Ability to gather information and convey technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, business, and related industry
  • Applies technical knowledge, creativity and innovation in completing assignments
