About The Position
A motivated Civil Staff Engineer for a reputable firm in the Bridgeport, WV. area. This role offers a unique "earn-while-you-learn" mentorship environment focusing on Water Resources and Land Development. You will work directly with senior leadership to design infrastructure that shapes the local community.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 0–3 years of engineering experience (Internship experience is highly valued).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a major plus; proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to participate in periodic local day travel to project sites.
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
- Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
Nice To Haves
- EIT (Engineer in Training) or EI certification is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of civil engineering solutions for land use and water systems.
- Support senior engineers in planning, site visits, and the execution of engineering projects.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports, permit applications, and project documentation.
- Conduct research and data analysis to solve complex site-specific engineering challenges.
- Ensure all project phases meet strict safety, environmental, and quality standards.
