Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
  • Attention to detail
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer 2+ years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
  • Prior experience with field work and environmental regulations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation is a plus
  • Preference given to local candidates

Responsibilities

  • Gain real-world experience on exciting projects by applying standard engineering techniques and procedures to solid waste facilities and environmental projects such as landfills, recycling facilities, remediation sites, and waste transfer stations
  • Work under the guidance and direct supervision of a senior-level Engineer to assist in groundwater sampling program including coordination with laboratories, data analysis and reporting on behalf of private and public clients for regulatory agency compliance
  • Perform other duties as needed such as performing overall site layouts, grading plans, utility layout, cost estimating and drainage reviews.
  • Perform administrative duties to support project managers and our clients.
  • Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals’ programs
  • May require occasional travel
