About The Position

Join American Structurepoint's Civil Site Engineering group for a Co-op opportunity in Indianapolis, IN, from January 4, 2026, to May 14, 2027. This role offers hands-on experience in site design, including grading, utilities, parking lots, roadways, and stormwater management. You will collaborate with licensed engineers on land development projects, gaining experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Excel to create and refine construction plans. This co-op is designed to help you develop technical skills, explore your career path, and contribute to meaningful projects that impact local communities.

Requirements

Student majoring in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey or Structural Engineering or other related programs with an emphasis on Civil Engineering.
Reliable transportation to and from office location.
Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and try new things.

Responsibilities

Work closely with Project Managers and Team Leaders on land development projects, industrial, residential, mixed-use, urban re-development and/or affordable housing projects.
Learn drafting, plan production, design, field inspections, cost estimation and coordination.
Use AutoCAD and HydroCAD.
Perform calculations, assist with permit applications, technical specification preparation and develop exhibits, design drawing and presentation materials.
Other duties as assigned.
