About The Position
VHB's Atlanta office is looking for a Civil Site Designer to join their dynamic and growing Land Development team. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with professionals across diverse disciplines and gain exposure to a wide variety of projects in size and scope. Clients include leaders in commercial and residential development, industrial and hospitality sectors, municipal and local governments, and federal agencies. This position allows for meaningful project work with a lasting impact while advancing one's career with a supportive and innovative team.
Requirements
- BS in Civil Engineering or related field
- 0-1 years of engineering experience
- Competent with Microsoft Office products
Nice To Haves
- AutoCAD, HydroCAD and StormCAD experience
Responsibilities
- Work within a team of professionals in developing site civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of complex land development projects
- Civil engineering design and permitting of residential, industrial, hospitality, institutional and commercial sites including grading and drainage, utilities, roadways and parking
- Preparing plans and reports in support of State and local permitting
