About The Position
Multi-state design firm is seeking a Senior Civil Site Design Engineer for their team in Dallas! This role involves leading complex projects, utilizing technical expertise for high-level engineering design, and potentially supervising professional/technical staff. The position also includes mentoring junior staff, reviewing contracts with administrative support, promoting efficiency in work production, and executing QA/QC plans to ensure quality standards are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- 6+ years of related Civil Engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience supervising technical personnel
- PE License
- Proficient in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals, etc.
- Working knowledge of Civil 3d
Responsibilities
- Lead engineer on complex projects
- Use technical expertise to provide high-level technical engineering design
- May include supervising professional/technical staff
- Mentor/train junior staff
- Review contracts with support of administration
- Promote efficiencies in producing quality work
- Execute QA/QC plans for team and ensure quality standards are met
