About The Position

We are seeking a Civil Rights Specialist to investigate discrimination complaints, analyze evidence, conduct interviews, and prepare case recommendations. This role requires strong analytical, writing, and case management skills, along with the ability to mediate disputes and facilitate resolutions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Civil Rights, Compliance, Labor Relations, Human Resources, Public Administration, Social Services, Workforce Development, or related fields
  • Strong investigative, analytical, and writing skills
  • Experience conducting interviews and case reviews
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of EEOC, HUD, discrimination laws, and regulatory compliance is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Review and investigate civil rights complaints
  • Interview complainants, respondents, and witnesses
  • Analyze evidence and prepare written findings
  • Draft settlement and consent agreements
  • Conduct mediation and conciliation efforts
  • Maintain case files and compliance records
  • Apply federal and state civil rights laws to case evaluations
