About The Position

Bentley Systems is seeking a talented and dedicated professional to join our successful Resident Consultant Services Team. As a Resident Consultant, you will serve as a Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD) solution subject matter expert and be embedded with the Louisiana Department of Transportation for an extended period. In this pivotal role, you will provide coaching, training, support, and configuration services for the Louisiana Department of Transportation related to the Bentley ORD solution. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with the Bentley ORD solution, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to user success. Having experience with transportation design and construction workflows is considered an advantage. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent experience in road design.
• Possess 5 years’ knowledge and experience with ORD and MicroStation.
• Experience and comprehensive understanding of infrastructure projects and transportation workflows.
• Be familiar with and have experience configuring Bentley software workspaces.
• Knowledgeable in Bentley software workspaces as they pertain to ProjectWise.
• Experience developing training materials and/or recording training videos.
• Strong command of the English language with clear speaking skills for recording videos and teaching live training classes.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with drainage, survey, and bridge design is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, coaching, and training services for Bentley civil design and CADD applications, primarily ORD.
• Provide technical assistance for configuring, implementing, operating, and maintaining, Bentley civil products.
• Configure Bentley applications to meet DOT standards and workflows.
• Collaborate with Louisiana DOT to define requirements and develop, coordinate, and deliver statewide training workflows and resources.
