In this role, you’ll support the planning, design, and delivery of municipal civil engineering projects that positively impact the communities we serve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Licensed Professional Engineer
  • 10+ years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including experience working with municipal infrastructure
  • Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration
  • Experience with municipal business development and building strong client relationships
  • Experience conducting community meetings and stakeholder communication
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Individuals must be legally authorized to work in the US at the start of employment without a need for current or future visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee municipal engineering projects, including scope, budget, schedule and performance
  • Serve as the primary client contact and support business development efforts (RFPs, proposals, presentations)
  • Provide technical advice regarding design, construction or modification and repairs to clients, contractors and other staff members
  • Approve and present preliminary reports and feasibility studies
  • Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies
  • Coordinate construction administration and monitor documentation requirements with field staff
  • Travel to work sites and other project related locations, as necessary
