About The Position

Bohler’s Frisco, TX office is seeking a Civil Project Manager (Land Development) who’s ready to lead complex civil engineering site design projects from concept through construction. In this client-facing role, you’ll oversee every stage of land development and site/civil design, guiding teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions. You’ll build strong relationships with developers, architects, and municipalities while ensuring projects meet technical, financial, and regulatory goals, helping turn ambitious visions into successful, sustainable developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in civil/site design, land development, or permitting.
  • 2+ years of experience managing staff or project teams.
  • Strong technical background in grading, stormwater management, and utility design.
  • Proven success in project management, client relationship building, and business development.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead land development projects through all phases—planning, design, permitting, and construction.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to clients, providing strategic direction and expert solutions.
  • Manage project scope, budgets, contracts, and financial performance.
  • Foster business development through client networking, proposal preparation, and market engagement.
  • Mentor and develop engineers and designers, promoting technical growth and collaboration.
  • Conduct risk and technical reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Represent clients at public hearings and community meetings.
  • Participate in civic and professional organizations to expand both your network and Bohler’s presence in the marketplace.
