About The Position

Exciting and highly rewarding opportunity for a Senior Civil Project Manager (Airport) looking to join the team in Minneapolis! This is a hybrid position with working three days in the office and two days remote.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
8+ years of design experience with aviation, transportation, site development or municipal projects
Experience in design of roadways, utilities, site grading, drainage and storm water management
2+ years of project management experience
PE License
Resides within or open to relocate to the greater Minneapolis - Saint Paul, Minnesota area
Prior business development experience
Proficient in preparing plan sets, specifications, and construction cost estimates
Ability to travel as needed (up to 20%)
Occasional overnight travel may be required
Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Aviation project experience preferred
Experience with Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD preferred
Experience with ArcGIS preferred
Previous design experience with airfield/airport infrastructure projects preferred
Familiar with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations/procedures preferred

Responsibilities

Lead design/planning for a variety of complex site development and airfield design projects
Lead project teams and manage project scopes, schedules, financials, and technical requirements
Mentor/train junior staff with an emphasis on technical design standards and quality control
Serve as a technical expert in collaborative engineering environment
Travel to project sites
Provide engineering services to airports across the country including small general aviation airports, large international commercial airports, and military bases
Attend industry related conferences, trainings, and other events to strengthen expertise and foster relationships with potential project partners and clients
