About The Position
The Civil Project Engineer leads technical design and delivery of land development and infrastructure projects, including residential, commercial, transportation, and drainage systems. This role provides engineering leadership, mentors junior staff, manages project execution, and ensures compliance with industry standards, regulations, and timelines while maintaining strong client relationships.
Requirements
- Active Arizona Professional Engineer P.E. license
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- At least six years of design experience in land development or related infrastructure projects
- Proven ability to mentor engineers, coordinate projects, and manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with clients and internal teams
Responsibilities
- Oversee civil engineering projects related to land development, transportation, and drainage
- Supervise and mentor engineers in training and technical staff
- Assist with project scope definition, complexity assessment, and scheduling
- Ensure project deliverables meet regulatory standards, quality expectations, and deadlines
- Support employee development, performance evaluations, and team building initiatives
- Serve as technical lead while maintaining strong client relationships
