About The Position

A Canton, Ohio area Engineering Firm that is seeking to hire an experienced Civil Project Engineer who has the engineering know how to help design residential and commercial water resources projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited program.
• 0–4 years of experience in water/wastewater or related civil engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively within a team.
• Ability to perform occasional day travel to project sites.
• Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
• Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.

Nice To Haves

• EI/EIT certification is highly preferred (though not required).
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive technical drawings and plans for permitting and construction, focusing on layout, grading, drainage, and erosion/sediment control.
• Develop innovative technical solutions for complex water resource challenges.
• Prepare and complete necessary environmental permits to ensure project adherence to local and federal standards.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for all assigned water resource projects.
• Provide technical oversight during construction, including plan reviews and site visits to ensure design intent is met.
• Partner with fellow engineers and construction inspection personnel to deliver optimal results for clients.
