About The Position
MacKay is seeking a collaborative Civil Project Engineer with a background in land development, infrastructure, or energy projects to join their team in Federal Way, WA. The role involves leading the design and technical delivery of land development projects, communicating with clients, collaborating with project managers and business development teams, and directing technical staff. Requirements
- Registered PE in the states of Washington, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- 3- 5 years of design experience in transportation, gas pipeline, roadway, energy, or utilities
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience mentoring engineers and design technicians
- Experience with managing engineering projects from conception to completion, including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, design coordination, construction support, and project delivery within land development, infrastructure, and energy projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and manage the technical delivery of a variety of land development projects.
- Communicate with clients regarding current projects and collaborate with project managers and our business development team to identify and position the firm to successfully win future work.
- Effectively direct and support technical staff to deliver projects.
- Assist project managers in preparing and managing project scope, budget, and schedule, and prepare deliverables.
- Assist with business development efforts to cultivate strong client relationships.
