About The Position

Join the Aviation team as a Civil Project Engineer to innovate and lead in delivering critical airport infrastructure projects across Canada. This role involves contributing to every stage of project development, from concept through construction, for facilities such as runways, taxiways, airfield lighting, and de-icing. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create safe, efficient, and sustainable solutions for airport infrastructure.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or eligible for registration in Ontario.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in Canada, ideally in aviation, transportation, or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage deadlines, adapt to shifting priorities, and work collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel to project/client sites as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with TP312 5th Edition, ICAO, or FAA standards is an asset.
• Experience with project scheduling or modeling tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate conceptual, functional, and detailed design phases for airport infrastructure projects.
• Develop and review technical specifications, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates.
• Prepare engineering drawings, design reports, and presentation materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams, subconsultants, and project managers to ensure seamless delivery.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders, supporting communication and issue resolution.
• Support quality assurance and quality control processes across design deliverables.
• Contribute to proposal preparation, including scope definition, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Analyze project schedules to track milestones and critical path activities.
• Perform field reviews and attend project sites to support design and construction activities.
