About The Position

B.H. Inc., of Vernal, Utah, is searching for a full-time Civil or Structural Engineer (PE/EIT) to plan and design moderate to complex projects while working closely with the Engineering Team to facilitate the successful accomplishment of project goals and objectives. This position will be in either our North Salt Lake City or our Logan office. We are willing to pay for the best candidate for this engineer role. If you have what we're looking for, your salary is highly negotiable and could exceed our range of $90,000 to $110,000. We also offer perks and benefits, including weekly pay, health, vision, dental, life insurance, a 401k plan with match, and liberal paid time off (PTO). Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a Civil Engineering discipline.
  • 2 to 5 years of related professional experience or other comparable experience.
  • Passing of Fundamentals of Engineering Exam and a desire to take and/or passing grade in the Professional Engineering Exam.
  • Knowledge of project management delivery process tools.
  • A degree in Engineering is required.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience designing in Revit and Civil 3D preferred.
  • Experience working with AutoCAD Civil 3D is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Revit, Risa 3D, Enercalc, Autodesk Storm & Sanitary Analysis, and other engineering software programs desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and design moderate to complex projects.
  • Work closely with the Engineering Team to facilitate the successful accomplishment of project goals and objectives.
  • Pay attention to detail and be proficient in gathering project details.
  • Communicate project requirements with owners, sub-consultants, reviewing or permitting agencies, and construction teams.
  • Perform engineering calculations.
  • Create construction plans and details.
  • Follow design codes and governmental regulations.
  • Create engineering models using engineering software.
  • Help to identify and address potential issues promptly.
  • Responsible for a diverse range of tasks, including all disciplines of Civil Engineering (civil, structural, transportation, hydraulics, soils).
