We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in our Baltimore, MD office. The Civil/Land Development Department at WRA provides master planning, investigation, design, permitting/approval and construction phase engineering services for a large variety of site development and improvement projects, including campus/facility settings, planned communities, urban revitalization, and parks and public spaces. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or other relevant degree from an ABET accredited program
  • 11-15 years of relevant experience
  • Licensed PE in the state of Maryland or ability to obtain within six months through comity from another state
  • Experience with planning, design, permits/approvals, construction phase services for residential, industrial, institutional, or commercial site/land development projects in the Mid-Atlantic region
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or MicroStation
  • US citizenship required
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Master planning, investigation, design, permitting/approval and construction phase engineering services for a large variety of site development and improvement projects, including campus/facility settings, planned communities, urban revitalization, and parks and public spaces.
  • Work independently and in a design group setting.
  • SWM/ESC Plan design and permitting.
