About The Position
EXP is seeking a Civil Intern for their Wisconsin Operations (Appleton area). The intern will work under the direct supervision of junior or senior engineers, focusing on transportation construction projects. This role is in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, suitable for individuals who are proactive and eager to gain experience in a consulting engineering firm.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college civil engineering program
- Experience with computer aided drafting and Microsoft Office products
- Punctuality and maturity – ability to work with minimal direction
- Ability to work outdoors for field assignments
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Assist with on-site inspections and field assignments
- Utilize CAD programs to assist in the preparation of plan drawings and details
- Assist with preparation of technical specifications and reports
- Perform material quantity take-offs
- Organize design calculations
- Assist project teams in meeting deadlines as needed
