About The Position

Tindall Corporation is a leading Precast Concrete Manufacturer with locations throughout the Southeastern U.S. Our mission is to support our customers, create remarkable structures, and deliver never-before-seen solutions every step of the way. This internship offers hands-on experience in design, plant operations, and fieldwork, with a focus on understanding how components come together to engineer with constructability in mind. Interns will also undertake a solo project to gather data and provide recommendations for performance improvements.

Requirements

Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution with a structural emphasis.
Must have completed coursework in structural engineering as part of their academic program.

Nice To Haves

CAD or 3D modeling experience is a plus.
Participate in ASCE concrete canoe and AIAS design build projects are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Complete the orientation portion of the Tindall training program including time in production, quality control, and the field.
Complete the technical portion of the Tindall training program, including structural design and analysis of precast concrete components and their connections using engineering principles.
Independently complete an assigned engineering project focused on testing products or connections, with the goal of gathering data and providing recommendations for performance improvements.
Upon completion of the internship, prepare a final report for the solo project, summarizing findings, results, and recommendations, and present it to senior management.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.
