Requirements

Experience with excavation and trench work, including but not limited to sewer, drainage, electrical, gas, communication, etc.
Experience with grading, fill placement and roadway and sidewalk installation.
Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
Must be able to use all Microsoft products (outlook, teams, word, excel) and proficient with Adobe.
Knowledge of Visio preferred but not required.
The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice To Haves

NICET level 2 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee and verify construction activities, reading and understanding construction documents, maintain field records.
Adhere to safety requirements and informing Resident Engineer about unsafe conditions and non-conforming work in the field.
Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with building standards and project specifications
Inspect all material upon arrival to the jobsite to ensure compliance
Document inspections and report any issues
Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, inspectors and vendors to complete each project on time
Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control standards are met at various stages of the project
Perform inspections or schedule inspectors to meet the varying safety and compliance regulations of each job location
Maintain a written daily log of visitors, job actions performed, materials expended, and problems resolved on the job site
Travel between multiple job sites and simultaneously manage work loads of individual projects
Identify and resolve problems and conflicts, organizing meetings and cooperating with team members in various roles as necessary
