Apex is seeking an Entry Level Civil/Geotechnical Engineer to be based in Somerset, PA. This role offers hands-on experience across a diverse range of projects, including mining sites, power generation facilities (wind, solar, and power plants), and industrial, commercial, and residential developments. The individual will collaborate closely with experienced professionals, benefiting from mentorship and support for long-term career growth within the firm.

Requirements

BS in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
1+ years of related experience.
Proficiency with MS Office suite.
Excellent technical communication skills and strong attention to detail.
Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices.

Nice To Haves

EIT preferred.
AutoCAD / Civil 3D preferred.

Responsibilities

Execute detailed and conceptual engineering design.
Design and boring plan preparation for projects relating to land development, dams, and various other engineering projects.
Work with project team to provide utility clearances, perform drill inspection, prepare laboratory chain of custodies, and design calculations.
Assist in the preparation of final reports.
Assist in the permit application process.
Actively develop your own career growth.
