If you’re a hands-on leader who knows underground utilities inside and out, this is your chance to run the work that matters most. As our Civil Underground Utility Foreman, you’ll lead crews delivering essential water, sewer, and storm infrastructure—safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. About the role: Supervise daily activities of underground utility crews (operators, pipelayers, laborers) Plan, organize, and execute work related to watermain, sanitary, storm, and service installations Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and utility locates Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and site-specific safety plans Coordinate with project management, inspectors, engineers, and utility authorities Ensure proper shoring, trench safety, dewatering, and excavation practices Manage productivity, manpower, equipment, and materials on site Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce safe work practices Monitor quality control and ensure installations meet municipal and project standards Complete daily reports, time tracking, and as-built documentation Identify and resolve site issues, conflicts, and constructability challenges Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members Maintain clean, organized, and efficient work areas Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Superintendent
