Civil Engineering Team Lead (PE)
About The Position
We're seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Civil Engineering Team Lead (PE) to lead and grow our Spokane office. This role combines technical expertise, project leadership, and team development to deliver exceptional results for our clients and communities. Backed by a collaborative, multi-disciplinary firm, you'll lead impactful civil infrastructure projects, mentor a high-performing team, and play a key role in expanding our presence throughout the region. Facet is a fast-growing dynamic civil and structural engineering and environmental consulting firm with six offices in Washington. We are engineers, scientists, arborists, landscape architects, planners, and more, with decades of experience working throughout the PNW and the nation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
- 5+ years of experience in a consulting environment.
- 7+ years of project management experience leading civil engineering, land development, or municipal infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership, project management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with business development, client management, proposal preparation, and staff leadership preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead business development, client relationship management, and proposal efforts to grow our civil engineering consulting practice.
- Attend meetings with clients, jurisdictional agencies, other professionals and organizations.
- Lead civil engineering design, project delivery, and quality control for projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
- Mentor aspiring engineers.
