The Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects for private land development clients, encompassing planning, design, and management for industrial, commercial, and residential projects. This role involves consulting with clients to determine site requirements, providing design information, and estimating costs. The Project Manager leads and supports the development of project proposals, defines project tasks, schedules, and resource requirements, and establishes and helps achieve QA/QC goals. Key responsibilities include providing leadership for day-to-day operational activities related to civil engineering and site work design, coordinating with various technical staff, and managing project budgets, profitability, and client billing. The role also involves identifying additional scope and revenue opportunities, participating in business development, preparing and reviewing contracts, managing project scope, maintaining client communication, mentoring staff, and cultivating strong client relationships.
