About The Position

Join the KPFF Lacey team as a motivated, energetic, and experienced Senior Project Manager with at least four years of experience and a strong background in managing civil engineering projects ensuring they are delivered to the highest quality standards. This position provides opportunities to work on a variety of projects for both public agencies and private developers which include: Commercial Site Development, Parks and Recreation Facilities, Multi-family / Residential Development, Water Systems, Sewer Lift Stations, Roadway Infrastructure, Municipal Institutions, Public Works Infrastructure and Redevelopment, Staff Augmentation. Our Project Managers play a critical role in our design teams, and exhibit strong leadership, time management, and communication skills to pursue, develop, and execute projects to meet client expectations. In this role, you’ll not only refine your existing expertise in civil engineering; you will also mentor other engineers with technical knowledge, research and ability, design, permitting, and other project components.

Requirements

  • B.S. Degree or higher in Civil Engineering.
  • P.E. License in Washington State.
  • At least 4 years of experience as a Civil Project Manager.
  • Knowledge of codes, regulations, and standards applicable to the design and construction of major site development projects in Washington State.
  • Permitting experience with various municipalities.

  • Supervise and mentor design engineers and drafters overseeing quality control processes and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of project deliverables.
  • Write, or review project proposals and statements of qualifications, and establish fees and project schedules.
  • Ability to communicate with contractors, and conduct site visits and inspections as necessary to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
