About The Position

Fehr Graham is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to ensure project success. This role involves providing essential technical guidance and administrative services for efficient, profitable, and timely project execution. The Project Manager will be the primary contact for clients, playing a key role in business development, proposal preparation, presentations, client relationship maintenance, and public relations efforts. The position is based in the Sheboygan, WI, office, within an environment that values work-life balance, fun, team-building, and positive energy. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on municipal infrastructure
  • Background working with a consulting firm or municipality
  • Proven experience in business development, client management, or winning work
  • Strong understanding of municipal systems (water, wastewater, stormwater, roadways)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to operate independently and drive growth

Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand relationships with municipalities, local agencies, and public/private sector clients
  • Identify and pursue new project opportunities
  • Lead proposal development, presentations, and client meetings
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of municipal work
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and position the firm for long-term partnerships
  • Manage the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects
  • Oversee scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful delivery
  • Coordinate internal teams across disciplines
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with permitting and regulatory requirements
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff
  • Support strategic growth initiatives in the municipal market
  • Contribute to revenue growth through project delivery and new client acquisition
