About The Position

Garver's Water Design Center (WDC) in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a passionate Civil Intern to join their team of water treatment facility planning and design experts. Requirements

Candidates must be pursuing a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Interest in designing water and wastewater infrastructure.
Willingness to learn in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Assist engineers with the design and drafting of site civil components for water and wastewater treatment facilities.
Support development of grading, drainage, erosion control, utility, and site layout plans for a variety of projects.
Perform basic engineering calculations and quantity estimates.
Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D to support project design tasks.
Participate in project meetings, site visits, and field investigations as needed.
