About The Position
Michael Baker International is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to support our Land Development Department working under the supervision of various team members on a variety of design projects in our Moon Township, PA office. In this internship, you will assist project managers, engineers, and designers in completing technical tasks on projects as assigned and will learn the profession as duties are performed.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in good academic standing and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at an accredited University or College; minimum of 2 years of coursework completed
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D Land Development software is a plus
Responsibilities
- Civil design of roadways, sewers, and utilities
- Hydrology and hydraulic calculations
- Stormwater and erosion and sediment control plans
- Preparation of engineering related calculations and basic reports
- Field Investigations, data collection, and input
- Develop a proficiency utilizing AutoCAD & MS Excel software

- Compensation range of $21 per hour
