Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in civil engineering, construction management, civil engineering technology or a related field.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
- Reliable means of transportation to travel to the office and project sites.
Nice To Haves
- Coursework or experience in municipal roadway or vertical building construction.
- Coursework or experience in underground utilities.
- Coursework or experience in Civil3D.
- Coursework or experience in roadway design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with construction inspection on water main, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, roadway, asphalt or concrete pavement, curb and gutter.
- Assist with construction staking such as subgrade and base course.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Provide assistance with design projects and plan production between construction projects.
- Engage in Civil 3D design, plan detail drafting, quantity calculations, and spreadsheet development.
