The Environment Business Line of Arcadis is currently searching for a Technical Intern / Civil Engineering Co-op/Intern to join our team. The start term is flexible and may begin in a future semester based on candidate availability and business needs. This is a great opportunity for exposure to a wide variety of civil design and environmental engineering projects within the consulting environment, with a focus on civil engineering projects. This position requires a broad educational background with an emphasis on science and engineering principles and fundamentals.

Requirements

Pursuing a BS in Civil, Environmental or related engineering discipline.
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong Microsoft Office skills are also required.

Nice To Haves

Additional skills in AutoCAD, GIS, and programming are preferred.
Long-term interest in working in our Cincinnati or Columbus offices.

Responsibilities

Assist project teams supporting land development tasks associated with remediation system designs.
Office work may include task coordination, data compilation and interpretation, quality assurance/quality control reviews, report writing, and construction drawing preparation.
Assist with design calculations associated with bulk earthwork, stormwater management, hydraulics, and pipe burial.
