Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in civil engineering, construction management, civil engineering technology or a related field.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
- Reliable means of transportation to travel to the office and project sites.
Nice To Haves
- Coursework or experience in municipal roadway or vertical building construction, underground utilities, Civil3D, roadway design is beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with construction inspection on water main, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, roadway, asphalt or concrete pavement, curb and gutter, construction staking such as subgrade and base course, and other duties.
- Assistance with design projects and plan production would be possible between construction projects.
- Duties would vary between Civil 3D design, plan detail drafting, quantity calculations and spreadsheet development.
