RQ is a privately held, full-service design-build firm, specializing in fast-track commercial construction for the Department of Defense, and offering comprehensive solutions that integrate design, engineering, and construction under one roof. We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our Civil Engineering team in Jacksonville, FL. As a Civil Engineer, you'll work on multiple unique projects, ensuring they meet U.S. military design standards. A typical day may include drafting site plans, preparing grading and drainage designs, and collaborating closely with a team of engineers and designers.

Requirements

BS degree in Civil Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer
A minimum of five (5) years qualifying experience as a civil designer
Previous experience in the design-build construction industry
Specific software literacy required: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Work and MS Excel

All candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check, for access to job site at military base (if applicable for position being hired for).
