About The Position
The client has an opportunity for an Associate Engineer (ENTRY-LEVEL) in the Charleston, SC area. In this role, you will review engineering plans, specifications, and calculations for water and wastewater systems serving new development, ensuring design quality, constructability, and compliance with CWS standards and regulatory requirements. You will evaluate hydraulic flow and system capacity analyses, coordinate testing, field investigations, and permitting, and work with developers, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
Requirements
- B.S in Civil Engineering or Engineering field
- Minimum 0-3 years experience in the wastewater industry or other related fields
- Familiar with hydrology
- Experience with wastewater design and analysis
Nice To Haves
- GIS and property research experience
- AutoCAD experience
