About The Position

JBW Federal is seeking a Civil Engineer to work at Lackland AFB. As Civil Engineer PM Support, provide support for the 67 CW Emergency Management (EM) program, per DAFI 10-2501 and AF manual 32-100. The 67 CW CE has administered the EM program IAW DoDI 6055.17. A United States Citizenship and an active Top-Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and identify unit requirements to maintain unit emergency management program.
  • Identify, create, and maintain a unit EM continuity folder, either hard copy or electronic, to include appointment letters, EM reports, training certificates, EM PR reports, Commander Inspection Program requirements and the monthly shortfall or LIMFAC report (A001).
  • Collect unit information and create quarterly unit EM reports along with the unit SOP, supporting checklists, contingency response plans (CRP) and EAPs to support the IEMP 10-2 and meet the NIMS requirements listed for the unit in the IEMP 10-2, if applicable.
  • Ensure that the unit (Wing) has a continuity plan that outlines the program and identifies OPRs for planning, training, and exercises.
  • Serve as a member of the IG Wing Inspection Team.
  • Support Civil Engineering Functions.
