About The Position

S&ME is looking for an eager and dedicated full-time entry-level Civil Engineer to join our Civil/Energy team in Charlotte, North Carolina. As an entry-level Civil Engineer, you'll gain hands-on experience and personalized mentorship from Professional Engineers while working on impactful infrastructure projects across the Energy, Industrial, and Government sectors, including pipelines, renewable energy facilities, water resources, and more. You will participate in conceptual design, engineering analysis, detailed calculations, and cost estimation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field
• 0-2 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design projects
• Aspiration to take the Professional Engineer (P.E.) exam within the next 4-5 years.
• Strong prioritization skills and well-organized
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil3D, and stormwater/utility modeling software, a plus
