About The Position
Leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Civil Engineer for their Orlando, Florida team!
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or related field, from an EAC/ABET accredited program
- 5+ years of relevant design or construction experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, etc.
- Proficient in Hydrology/hydraulic software, (Stormwise ICPR software, stormcad, etc.)
- Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam passed preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment preferred
- Proficient in Stormwater Quality/Nutrient removal modeling (BMPTrains Software, etc.) preferred
- GIS software including ESRI, all levels preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage small to medium projects and engineering tasks
- Prepare/review designs and specifications for civil projects
- Prepare/review construction documents and permit submittals
- Coordinate with other design disciplines (architects and engineers, landscape architects and surveyors)
- Document design changes/communications
- Assist with the management of project delivery, invoicing, and financial performance
- Assist with the development of scope, budget, and schedule for new projects and tasks
- Build/maintain client relationships
- Negotiate with permitting authorities
- Conduct on-site inspections as needed
- Review construction submittals/requests for information
