Location: Various municipalities across North Carolina Overview : As a Civil Engineer, you will plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, and water supply systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in civil engineering and project management.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and supervise the construction of infrastructure projects.
- Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects.
- Consider construction costs, government regulations, potential environmental hazards, and other factors in planning stages.
- Test building materials, soil, and ground conditions to ensure safety and compliance.
- Prepare public reports on various topics, including bid proposals and property deeds.
