About The Position

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with strong analytical capabilities in steel and concrete design. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the nuclear Standard Design Process and license/design basis assessment per 10CFR50.59. This role also requires construction and implementation experience, with the ability to apply practical solutions to field problems. The engineer will need strong communication skills for internal team collaboration and external vendor interactions, and must be able to lead, collaborate, and work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements

• Professional Engineer License
• Held qualifications at a nuclear power station in the last 3 years – including Design Change, Calculations, and 50.59 applicability/screen
• Strong analytical capability in steel and concrete design
• Proficient in the nuclear Standard Design Process and license/design basis assessment per 10CFR50.59
• Construction and implementation experience
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written, internally to the team and with external vendors
• Ability to lead, collaborate, and work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
