About The Position

MacKay Sposito is seeking a dedicated and relationship-driven Civil Engineer to join their Infrastructure & Development team in Raton, NM. The role involves civil design and layout, including site layout, grading plans, stormwater management, and piping and pumping systems. The engineer will participate in multi-disciplinary projects, prepare drawings and specifications, deliver work products to clients, and oversee construction projects as a client representative. Requirements

B.S. in Civil Engineering
F.E. required and ability to obtain P.E. within 4 years of graduation from college
0-4 years of relevant experience in public works and civil design
Engineering design, including but not limited to grading, drainage, and site layout for municipal infrastructure projects
Construction management and oversight
Cost estimating
Preparation of procurement and construction specifications
Scheduling and subcontractor management
Data analysis, problem-solving, and cost estimating

Responsibilities
