About The Position

The Phoenix office is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated, technically minded Civil Engineer with four to seven plus years of experience to join our team in applying engineering skills to a variety of challenging projects. We are looking for someone with experience that ranges from civil design projects through construction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Certified Civil Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) required
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in the design of commercial, office, mixed-use, residential, municipal, alternative energy, health care, higher education, and Federal projects
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills

Nice To Haves

• Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred
• Registration in Arizona preferred
• Arizona experience and relationships a plus

Responsibilities

• Applying engineering skills to a variety of challenging projects.
• Experience that ranges from civil design projects through construction.
• Design of commercial, office, mixed-use, residential, municipal, alternative energy, health care, higher education, and Federal projects, including design of: Grading and drainage, Underground utilities, Site layouts, ADA design, Stormwater management, Battery energy storage systems (BESS).
• Interfacing with a multi-discipline design team.
• Technical experience with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, technical studies, mapping documents, preparation and processing of public improvement and grading plans, and earthwork calculations.
• Coordinating with a multi-discipline design team.
• Specification preparation.
• Fostering long term client relationships.
