About The Position

We are seeking a mid-level Civil Engineer with 3+ years of experience to provide engineering services on all phases of an assigned project under the supervision of the Project Manager. This role involves contributing to and overseeing civil/site design for a wide variety of projects, including parks, municipal infrastructure, athletic facilities, schools, higher education campuses, and industrial/commercial developments. The position requires performing hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, assisting with the design and analysis of water and wastewater systems, preparing reports and technical documents, conducting utility coordination, and managing assigned tasks to ensure successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget parameters. The ideal candidate will work both independently and collaboratively, operating with limited supervision while demonstrating sound judgment and technical expertise.

Requirements

  • Proficient in AutoCAD® Civil 3d computer aided design software
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of software including, but not limited to Word Excel, PowerPoint, etc
  • Proficient in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to multitask, appropriately prioritize workflow and complete tasks on schedule and within budget
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering Preferred) from an accredited four-year college or university

  • Engineering-in-Training (EIT) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to support land development, roadway, culvert, and bridge projects.
  • Assist with the design and analysis of water and wastewater systems, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities.
  • Prepare reports, calculations, and technical documents.
  • Conduct utility coordination and support the preparation of construction documents.
  • Manage assigned tasks to ensure successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget parameters.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively, operating with limited supervision while demonstrating sound judgment and technical expertise.
