About The Position

Technologist, Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting the 11th Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) at Joint Base Anacostia Bolling (JBAB), Washington DC. The ideal candidate will have a foundation in civil engineering principles and practices, with a focus on construction planning and management. This role requires excellent attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Foreign university degrees acceptable.
Three (3) or more years’ experience developing plans, solutions, and civil designs for facility and infrastructure projects and systems.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance - Requires residency in the US for the past three years.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

Design and develop civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Prepare construction estimates and project budgets.
Draft detailed engineering plans and specifications.
Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage construction activities to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
Prepare technical reports and documentation to communicate project progress and findings.
